In a million dollar tenant build out, local general contractor Harvest Construction had to build a load bearing pile cap in the basement of an eight-story office building in Brentwood, Tennessee.
The General Contractor called Civil Contractors of Franklin to perform the work and Greg Wallace told Toby Mikula at Harvest to call Trench Safety to figure out how to support floor, a load bearing wall and running # 57 stone for the safe access for its employees. The solution we were able to provide was to utilize a 6′ deep x 4′ wide x 40″-60″ three-sided mod box. Jimbo can remember when a Harvest project manager recently told him that, “We will never need to rent from you”. We happily serviced this project, which should be a three to four week rental. Harvest even offered to pay Jimbo for consultation on site! That just goes to show you never say never!
